Privacy

Short version: we don’t want your files, and whenever it is technically possible, they never leave your browser.

Your files

Most Toolerama tools process files directly on your device using your browser. The file is not uploaded, not stored and not seen by us. If a specific tool ever needs a server to do its job, its page will say so clearly before you use it.

What you type or paste

The same goes for text: passwords you generate, the text you count, the JSON you format and the content of your QR codes are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or saved.

Accounts and personal data

There are no accounts. We don’t ask for your name or email to use any tool.

Cookies and local storage

We don’t set cookies. Your browser remembers your light or dark theme choice in its local storage; that preference never leaves your device.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the service secure and working. They are not used to identify you.

Changes

If we add analytics, advertising or anything else that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before it goes live.
